The iconographic composition of the Trinity in the New Testament depicted on folio 22v is completely traditional. It is based on the illustration of psalm 109 (Dixit Dominus Domino Deo meo) drawn at an earlier date and reproduced in many 13th century illustrated Psalters. It consisted simply of God the Father seated on his throne holding a crucifix and the Holy Ghost in the form of a dove. Next to this composition lies the initial C incorporating a bust of Christ giving a blessing.
